An acrylic painting. 24 inches high by 18 inches wide on canvas. There is no need for a frame as the art continues on all side edges. Vibrant colors and geomagnetic lines and shapes evoke the feeling of bunches of tulips waiting to be purchased in an open air market.

Brown Glazed Hand-Built Ceramic Pot
10 inches tall x 9 inches wide
This pot was constructed by the coil method using high fired clay and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The dimensions are 10 inches high, bottom is 6.25 inches in diameter and the top is 9 inches in diameter. There is a 1.5 inch drain hole in the bottom.

This tropical fish is mounted on a 10 inch by 7.25 inch stand. Ceramic sculpture can be removed from stand and wall mounted. Fish is 8 inches by 7.5 inches.
JAN STILES
Color and visual texture are important elements in my art. I use bright, bold colors and interesting shapes and lines in my compositions. The main emphasis of my creative work is ceramic sculptures that can be used for swimming pools, wall murals and garden art. I also paint in oil and acrylic and use hand dyed tissue paper to make 2-dimensional art works.
